Our 100% natural Balms, Scrubs, Soap, Shampoo Bars, bread bags and food wraps, triple wood wick candles and melts ~ are made with care and love, ensuring that you get the best of nature's goodness. We take pride in our sustainable choices, using only natural ingredients and eco - friendly , plastic free packaging and making a positive impact on the environment.
All our products are designed for sensitive skin and have been cosmetically certified.

Meet the makers
My name is Dominique and that is Quintin. Together, we make Busy Beehive Studio. I'm the creative, emotional one with all the ideas. He's the logical one with all the muscles. Without him I couldn't do it!
Hopefully you've seen us at some local (& some not so local) markets.
We initially moved to the UK from South Africa in 2016 with our two young children & quickly made a new life for ourselves here. It's never easy starting from scratch in a new place, never mind a different country, different culture, different everything. But we knew if there was one thing we didn't want, it was to live in a large city. So we moved from a typical South African farm straight to the countryside & we made this our home.
Busy Beehive Studio started, like so many other wonderful small businesses, during lockdown. Although we may have only been a small business for a short three years, Ive been making beeswax products for my family for what feels like a lifetime. I started by making beeswax Food wraps to use in our own home & it expanded to body balms from there when we were struggling to find products that didn't aggravate our son's eczema.
All our products are hand made by myself in small batches to ensure only the finest quality products are sold to you! But equally important, each and every one of our products have been tested and used by ourselves in our own home and that is precisely the reason why we believe so much in what we do.
Part of what makes this business so special to us, is not just the love we have for beeswax and the belief we have in our products ~ its what this business has done for me as a person.
Busy Beehive Studio has become part of our daily lives and we have poured our hearts and souls into making it something uniquely special.
We love meeting new customers and seeing returning ones. One of the things that makes us happiest is when returning customers visit us and tell us just how much they love our products and what its meant to them.
