Beeswax has the highest melting point of any wax meaning the candles burn for longer than paraffin or other waxes.
They are the tidier candle in that they don't release any soot and they tend to drip less. They also emit a much more ambient light, making for a cosy atmosphere.
When beeswax candles burn, they clean the air like a great, natural, air purifier.
Just like lightening, beeswax produces negative ions when burned. These negative ions attach to positive ions (like dust, pollen, mold, odor, toxins) floating in the air and in this process cleans the air.
Beeswax candles have a very subtle, natural scent, which evokes the earthy, yet sweet aroma of honey. This makes them perfect to burn on the dinner table, as they don't overpower food.
Because of the herbal nature of these candles please trim the wick each time (if needed) before lighting.
White or Yellow Beeswax
- Trim the wick before each use to ensure and even burn
- Allow a full melt pool to form on each burn to prevent tunnelling
- Burn for a minimum of 2 hours, but no more than 4 hours at a time
- Always remove any debris from wax pool
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Always ensure that candle is away from draughts and flammable objects
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Once wax is less than 6mm of wax, extinguish flame
